About Us
Who We Are
Mount Pisgah Christian Academy operates as a ministry of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. We operate with a statement of faith consisting of Bible doctrines that will be taught and maintained. We believe as the home, the church, and the Academy work together, God's plan for each child will be discovered. Our teachers are determined to help each parent "train up a child in the way he should go..."
We acknowledge that God does not direct all students to serve Him in full-time ministry. However, we prepare students to live a productive, Christian life no matter where He may call. Some graduates will attend college, some will attend trade schools, and others will go directly into the workforce. No matter the direction, our students are given the knowledge, both academically and spiritually, to fulfill God's plan for their lives.

At Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, we strive to provide students with an education consisting of challenging academics, exciting sports and other extracurricular activities all within a safe environment and with a strong biblical foundation.
What we Do
Our elementary consists of kindergarten through sixth grades. Each student will learn in a traditional classroom setting using either the
A-Beka or Bob Jones University Press curriculum. Our teachers strive to make their classrooms an encouraging and loving atmosphere to learn. At Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, we realize we have the responsibility and honor of molding these young people to succeed academically, spiritually and socially.

Our secondary program includes 7th through 12th grades. Students are challenged both academically and spiritually with a strong course schedule throughout middle and high school. We offer the opportunity for teachers to get to know each student on a personal level. A unique benefit available to our students is the availability to seek spiritual guidance and to pray with teachers and other students. Our students have the chance to get valuable one-on-one attention from teachers academically. Graduates have gone on to college and exceled in both academics and athletics. Students have also gone on to both community colleges and state universities with substantial scholarship opportunities. Many other graduates have shown great success in technical schools, military service, and the workforce.

We encourage our students to explore extracurricular opportunities as well. Students have the opportunity to participate in flag football, volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. They can strengthen their leadership skills in our Student Council. We have many students compete at regional, state, and even national levels in the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools Fine Arts Competition for areas including piano, photography, painting, drama, and vocal ensemble and more.

Our goal is to provide students with a strong spiritual foundation while encouraging them to become well-rounded and productive citizens in both their present and their future
.
